We'd like to recommend the woodworking and cabinetry services of Geoff Simons and Victoria Furniture. We recently had overhead storage area doors and bedroom closets with drawers and shelves installed in the bedrooms of our older home in Centro.
The spaces were a challenge--all different sizes, not all plumb, existing woodwork to fit into and around, and the need to match the color stain of existing wood, i.e. typical Mexican remodel.
The woodwork is beautifully crafted, the hardware is high-quality, the construction was done on schedule to the day, and the installation went smoothly, with thorough cleanup and onsite touchup as needed. The price was fair for a high-quality product and great personal service.
Co-owner Juan, who oversees workshop labor and onsite installation, is a U.S. citizen of Mexican heritage who speaks English perfectly. Geoff, who is a Brit, speaks English the way the British intended it to be spoken. Both consulted with us onsite, by phone, and at their workshop whenever questions arose.
The company also makes furniture with the same attention to detail and personal service. Geoff's detailed drawings of the proposed installation helped us envision what it would look like and ask questions, so we know he'd be able to create furniture to your specifications.

Geoff's work is simply beautiful: design, attention to detail and the craftsmanship were first rate. Geoff and his staff built closet systems, a butler's pantry, full wall entertainment center, a lighted glass and wood display hutch, wrapped a large opening between rooms with fluted column detail and crown moldings and custom built furniture (headboard, nightstands, storage benches), all with first quality cedar, heavy-duty hardware and gorgeous finish. We built high-end kitchens in Denver and Geoff's work compares with the best custom woodwork I have seen. Geoff employs a staff of local craftsmen doing quality work.

I needed several pieces of furniture that were not "off the shelf". I wanted a computer armoire, a storage cabinet/printer stand and a pantry. After a not so good experience with another place, I ran into Geoff Simons who is a true craftsman. He made all of it for me and it turned out perfect. And, he finished it early!
